These brushes are amazing & everything I hoped they would be.

I had read about these brushes for a while & was very excited that they would be at the 2011 Sydney IMATS. To be honest, I didn’t get a very good chance at seeing the brushes up close as I was so overwhelmed by IMATS (it was my first time & I was very excited, haha). All I had in mind was quickly lining up to met Rae again (I quickly asked for a photo with her after her talk on stage) & to have my book signed. So anyway…

The full set comes with 27 brushes & is AU$699.00. A little bit much for me to buy right at this moment in time but absolutely worth every cent I’m sure. I found out months a go the Radiance Brush No. 27 was selling on its own for AU$85.00 & thought to myself ‘yes, finally I’ll be able to own at least ONE Rae Morris brush’. But then a miracle happened! I was on Facebook when I spotted an update status on Rae’s FB saying she has released a 10 Piece Brush Set for AU$199.00. ‘Holy crap this is awesome’ I thought to myself…then I called my husband in to tell him the exciting news. He probably had no idea what I was talking about through all the screaming & the crying (ok, that didn’t quite happen but it could have :p), but who cares, I just had to tell someone.

I bought it, I was sent email updates on the whereabouts of my set & it arrived in no time. In fact, it arrived a day before I had to do makeup for a bridal party so I have already tried them out on other people.

Most of them are magnetic! Here they are hanging from my bed head.  And no, I don’t leave them there. They safely put away at all times when not in use :p They have recycled bamboo handles & animal cruelty free.

13 Deluxe Eyeliner would have to be my favorite. It blends eyeliner perfectly with a few strokes. Amazing brush!

I love bent eyeliner brushes. I first bought a Coastal Scents bent eyeliner brush a few years a go & fell in love. This no.15 Precision bent-liner kicks the crap out of that one. And its so tiny. Very very tiny! Perfect liner everytime.

1. Deluxe Kabuki & 22. Pro Powder. These are so soft. Soft like a kittens fur. haha.

These brushes are so gentle they hardly move the skin which is great because a good brush should never move the skin around to much. The shadow brush really grabs onto pigments which I love because I have found that using some other brush brands they don’t tend to ‘grab’ the eyeshadow from the palette. Like I said above, eyeliner is blended with a few strokes. The angled brow brush fills in brows perfectly. These brushes are so precise & save a lot of time!
